i was on parts fish and i was lookin at the carb for my 250es big red. well the picture showed all kinds of hoses ad tubes conected to the carb . when i looked at my carb there were only two hoses the gas and the one coming from the bottem of the carb.could some body please post a clos up of the carb for this bike. thanks for the help

I don't have one, but there is usually the gas feed line then there are vent lines that don't really go anywhere. how many depends on what model carb you have.

how do i figure out what model carb i got?

if they are air vents like you say, that means i need to run air hoses from them up under the tank for submersability right???

yep! there are also some crankcase vents you need to run up there as well.

Yup they to keep water out, and if carb screws up it don't dump gas on a hot eng. other than that they don't do a thing for performance.

thanks for the help ,the performance is what i was woried about,cause the big red is a little tempermental when i go to start it .i didnt know if the tubes had anything to do with how the bike ran or not.thanks again.
