head gasket for 83-85 200x question

i got a new headgasket for my x, and was wondering how many dowel pins go between the jug and the valve components, the manual says 1, but thats with their gasket. HELP!

I don't own a 200x, so I'd wait for a 200x guy to respond to be sure...but the # of pins isn't affected by who made your headgasket.

actually it does matter how many dowel pins there have to go in for a headgasket, the 3 piece metal ones call for 2 dowel pins, there is none that go in the oil passage, but two diagonal from each other. i believe dads it correct, only because he seems like he knows his **** (excuse my language) ill put it back together in the morning and see how she is!!! thanks for all the replies!!

If you jiont , WWW.partsfish.com" at no cost " You can look at they parts cataloges for most bikes. i find some parts arn't listed some dont have numbers so i take it they cant be had . may only be used ones around to be had. good luck. Oh ya or www.bikebandit.com is a good one too.
