If I cut 3 or 4 holes in the airbox on my 185, would I see a difference in power? Also, would it include any re-jetting or anything else?
even if it worked ithink it would give you more problems than it's worth:bash: Oh unless you are drag racing on a tar stip :lmao:

It will work fine. On the 250R I run a K&N with Outerwears with no air box lid. On the 200X I run a K&N directly on the carb, no air box. You will have to clean the filter more often this way, and watch out for water, other than that, no problems.

I think if you also added an aftermarket exhaust you would notice a difference but yes you'd have to rejet. And like socal said you'd have to watch out for mud/water. Try to find some rubber plugs at a local auto parts store and cut the holes so that the plugs will seal them up that way you can get muddy or wet when you want.

I HAVE SEEN AIRBOX VENTS THAT HAVE FOAM IN THEM SO YOU CAN OIL THEM JUST LIKE YOUR AIR FILTER , THAT WAY IF YOU DO ENCOUNTER WATER GO FOR IT ,,, I THINK THEY ARE ALOT OF HASSLE FOR THE END RESULT THOOOO
