Here it is...I always wondered what a black 350x would look like...pretty cool! You should get some 350x decals made up in silver or gold.

hey guys,thanks for the compliments.thats my boy and he is pretty much obsessed with threewheelers like me. hey 250sx thanks for the help posting the pic.i didnt have good luck today at all as i metioned i had the motor done,but now its smoking like a chimmney.i pulled it out and this time i'm doing it over myself!!it looks like the shop may have broke the oil control ring and subtituted it with the wrong size? Bob

That thing rules serious ass. What is done to the motor?

well the motor has a 12:1 piston,xr cam,new crank and rod,but it isnt doing any good right now. the shop that did the work,lied to me said that they bored it 20 over but they didnt even take the glaze off the cylinder,and they broke the oil control ring,stripped a head bolt,so anyway thanks for the compliment,and with any luck it will be up and running by the end of week?

Yeah, I feel your pain, I am trying like hell to get my 350X rollin again and I am close but am running thin on patience. I forget to ask, are those the Maier shiny finish fenders or did you paint those? If you painted them, what did you use?

Big Mike C, I polished the rear fenders with armorall car wax and the front is painted with black urethane bumper paint(dont do it )the fender looks better in photo than what it really is.I have a new one order(also scoops).I dont know if all this aggrevation is worth it sometimes,like you my patience is very thin!!! The last time it broke down i dont know what made me more mad the bike or me not getting my helmet off fast enough to smash it(bike).thankfully friends were there to "calm me down". BOB

I'm not an expert at painting, but mine has stayed on good
so far. Here is what I did:
1. Use Klean-Strip Bulldog Abrasive Bumper Cleaner P-ABC-124
to clean the Plastic throughly.
2. Spray a light coat of Klean-Strip Bulldog Adhesion Promoter
3. Spray Acrylic urethane automotive paint in the colors you want.
4. Spray with auto clear coat.
5. Wet sand with 2000 grit Sandpaper
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 if needed
7. Polish and wax

It is kind of like painting a milk jug.
