200x shock ???

what is the difference between the red and blue 200x shock?(or should i say coil spring)
is it just the year?

I am not certain but i think it is just because they came on differnt year 200x`s. The red ones were on the 83-85 200x because of the red plastic. And the blue were on 86-87 200x`s because of the white plastic and blue numbers. And i think that is the only difference.

then why is the shock on my 84 blue?..it seems nothing was ever changed on it..:shrug:

'85's had blue springs, probably just to match the seat, fork boots, and part of the tank wing.
