BIG PROBLEMS with the 87 X--please help

ok-I have some big problems right now with the 87 200x. It will NOT start. The Kickstarter goes down the ground (literally) and It has no spark. I also think my key switch is FVcked up becuase it shows the key as always being live when I test (ON -and- Off).

Immediate help would be very mcuh appreciated.

It starts now!!! The kicker is still messed upt hough---it goes all the way vertical (???) why?

I, now, need a ignition switch for it, that was the problem......anyone got one??

If you look at the back end of your case , behined the kik start you will see a bolt. that is the stop . if you pull this out it sould be around 3/4 inch long , when you pull it out and all there is is 1/4 of a inch of threed you have a 1/2 inch of steel in your eng. if the pin is good you broke the stop on the rachet. hopefully the peases stayed in the kik start housing if not it's in the gear box:cry: if not you may wont to look into refreshing your eng will you have it all apart:cry:
