Foul plugs!!

Well i got spark, i got gas and can driver for about half hour til i slow down and give it all its got and it starts smoking and bogging down real bad and then shuts off and wont start back up til i replace or clean the plug, is the carb adjusted wrong cus it will run fine for the 1/2 hour themn it just starts smokin/boggin down and then dies, so you think its the carb adjusted improperly? well update i can clean the plug up and put it in and itll run til i hammer it and then itll die and wont start back up til i clean or replace the plug??any ideas

randy, is your bike all stock? if so clean your air cleaner and LIGHTLY oil it mix your gas at 40:1 make sure that the silencer isn't clogged up with lotsa carbon , then try that ,,, maybe a one range hotter plug would help too,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Thanks Kasey, as far as i know its all stock though i just bought a FMF pipe and a 38 mm carb. Ill go check my silencer, and gas ratio.

Chainsaw, when you refer to the left side is that when you stand behind the bike, so the shifter side cover?

Attn chainsaw: or anyone else, i just took my stator cover off and there was a little grey oily substance in there, and a few drops of water, so i cleaned it all out, dryed it, and put it back on and drove for like 30-40 minutes and took it off again and there was nothing in there? do you think i still have a problem, i took my silencer off, and turned in the idle screw a little and its running a lot better?? so u think by bottom is shot:D

randy drop your tranny oil . if its grey you have a water pump seal leaking if not you just changed your oil!! lol,,, but keep an eye on the stator , make sure it stays clean and dry,,,,,,,

Thanks Kasey ill go check that, what kind of fluid do you put it in the tranny(tranny fluid obviously) but what type/brand(is better). Also do you have any close up pics of your motor.

grrrr......the thing is still fouling plugs!! i was running with my silencer off and it smoked les and ran good but its so loud i put it back on and now it still smokes really good and fouls the plugs out?? i checked the stator and its still dry, good my silencer be clogged, and if it is can you clean it out? i know the cable/chain trick but does that work, also when i grab the spark plug and kick it over it gives me a poke but not a good one i dont think? maybe my stator or coil is weak, cus there was a little oil/water in the stator?
