Havn't seen any yet but that doesn't mean they don't exist, Anyone know if you can get "Douglas type" rims for an ATC70, now that would look cool.

I looked high and low for 7 inch aluminum wheels. I can't find anyone selling them. 8 inch wheels will work but then you have to run none stock size tires.

Call this guy:

Darryl Smith's Sand Tires Unlimited: 619-463-5516

They are in Lemon Grove Ca (San Diego), and they have most everything in stock, if not they can get it. If I remember right they do have some atc 70 rims on the wall......

either that or Look up douglas rims on the web, or in Dirt wheels magazine. Call them, they can custom make wheels for you, and I know they make / made atc 70 rims.

yea those crappy 7inch wheels are a pain.

anyway, heres a tip if you want to use bigger tires. someguy made 2 spacers to go inbetween the fender mount bracket and the fender to jack the fenders up away from the wheels (kinda like a cheap body lift kit for a truck). they were made of 2 1/2" square tubing steel and only thing is you cant bolt the back bracket (the one on the angle.

oh yea, youll have to drill out your studs in the seatpan to for longer bolts, and tack nuts on the inside to thread onto.

oh haah, and youll have to take off those dumb metal bars on the pegs too i think. those are stupid anyway.

saw this beast on the trails and asked the guy how and what he did. thing was sick!!

as for the front, the guy didnt have this but it should work, try a atc110 fork. dont know if itll hit engine though, have to check it out.
