Yep it is either something stuck in your low jet. You can try taking it out and running a small wire through it to make sure it isnt plugged.
But first i would try adjusting your idle air mixture. I am not sure where it is on the sx. But they are usally in the front of the carb. Either on the side or underneath. You could try turing it out about 1/4 turn and see if it helps.
Thanks i will take a look at the slow jet . I already tried to adjust the idle air mixturand that didnt help. Can the choke valve be the prob? I pluged the choke and it idled and didnt die .But it did idle high.

you should clean out your whole carb, it will make a difference. once i cleaned out mine my trike idled extremely well. i dunno if this would help but you should check to see if your air filter needs to be cleaned
:D yup it was the slow jet that was plugged. got it all cleaned out and it runs like a champ.:headbang: :D thanks for the suggestions
