Does your wife know what you spend on your trike? I keep mine chained by the back door in our carport.(the trike, not the wife)
The first thing that the wench noticed today was that I had put a Blazer off road light where the old light used to be. She said, "How much was that light?". "Nine dollars", I lied. She told me that I must think that she is stupid. (she is very perceptive) She then went over the trike, and informed me that my fenders were new, they are not, just a little Armor-all. She told me that my shock sleeve covers were also new, they are not. Geez, I hope that she does not look in my increasingly heavier tool box and find my new torque wrench, my new set of metric sockets or my new air ratchet, or my new impact gun that I have bought for the trikes in the last couple of weeks. I figured out a month or so ago what I've spent on trike stuff, manuals, parts, complete ones, ect for the past 7-8 years, and it was over $10,000  And that hasn't included any of the tools I've bought, like tap and die sets, metric wrenches, all the misc nuts and bolts (Which add up) And other stuff I'm sure I left out.

This stuff is pretty funny. I have an easy way to tell if a woman loves me or not...I show her the pre-nup my future wife (if I have one) will have to sign. :demon:
That weeds out the money-grubbers REAL quick. :demon:

yup 16 year marridge and my wife is not even remotely interested in motorcycles, nor does it bother her that I spend money on them, course doesnt bother me when she buys shoes and clothes, does anybody know how many pairs of shoes is enough? I own 3(sneakers, boots, flipflops) The wife could open her own shoe store, baffles me. but I dont say nothing and she doesnt notice new tools so I guess it works out.

She knows 3/4 of the time about 3/4 of what I spend so that makes it 56%, yep she knows about 56% of what I spend, but then I don't have a clue about what she spends either so it works well for me!!

I never tell my grilfriend how much I spend on my toys because she doesn't understand the difference in money well spent and money wasted. Whenever she tells me what she paid for some outfit she just bought,I think of the important stuff I could have got with the money she wasted. Clothes,,jewelry, shoes = wasted money that could be wisely invested in toys and toy accesseries. Of course I keep my mouth shut though or I'll be cut off.:nono:

I agree with boofniff how many pairs of shoes does it take and she just has to have that new purse because its on sale so she has to buy the shoes to match  but she always looks good:shocked: and as long as I tell her sappy stuff like that I get bike parts.but yes she does the checkbook and knows evey thing I buyhttp://www.theunholytrinity.org/cracks_smileys/contrib/owen/scatter.gif

my wife really does not worry to much about how much I spend on my 3wheeler( to make it go faster) . She just makes sure that I keep the LIFE insurance premiums paid on time.
That's no lie Jimbo.my wife took another insurance policy out on me,when i brought home my x!!one thing she really dont mind my spending on the trike as long as she gets her toys to(computer, camera, etc),but whats funny is i use that crap more than she does.
