I am thinking about putting a set of 20x11x8 holeshots on my 250SX. Has anyone run these on an SX?? Is there something else you would recommend? Most of my riding is woods/trails. What front tire would you run? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

i ran those tires on my 200X and i rode on trails and tore around the house. they seemed to have hooked up pretty good. i have the tires and they are for sale they still have the nobbys on them yet
they are on aluminum rims. they are actually made my nanco but are the same thing. 4 ply. shoot me a price.

I don't really need the rims...anyway, would they work on my SX? Why are u selling them and where are you located? Would u consider selling w/out the rims?

I dont think the size will matter to the sx. It will make it easier to spin the tires. But you will lose top speed. And i dont know what the woods trails are like around you. But i wanted to do the same with my 200x. But i have enought trouble right now bottoming out on rocks. And by dropping the rearend down with the smaller tires. Makes it easier to hit the skid plate on the motor. And also to damage your axle by having it closer to the ground. So if you go over a lot of big rock trails i wouldnt recommmend going with the smaller tires.

Good point, thanks Fuzzy! :headbang:

I saw a pair of brand new 22x11x8 mudbusters(? i think that's what they were called) on egay for a buy it now of $69. Do you think that's a decent tire & good deal?

i dont know if the rims would fit but i would sell them without the rims if you wanted. im selling them cause i parted out my 200X(i should be shot for parting that thing out). they would fit. im located in arpin wisconsin. thats the center of state pretty close.
tell me a price and i will let you know what i think.

Hey belive it or not for dirt roots and rock riding i have a pair of trail pros that do pretty good. but they dont do soo good in mud or snow. so i picked up a pair of PRO WEDGE II on ITP steel rims from a guy down the street for 25 bucks and they came with another set of stock tires for what looks like a 125m and a set of rims for an old 185s but for the mud and snow and sand the wedges are kicker. but i do belive it or not like my trail pros. but if i were you i wouldent go to a smaller size youll loose the little bit of clearance you have and whatnot. but good luck.

You need to be carefull about wheels for a 250sx. They are offset to the outside to clear the brake drums. Most stock ATC 8" ATC rims will not fit. I know because I tried to put stock 200x rims, and some standard offset aftermarket rims I have on my 250sx. The 9" 350x rims fit.

on my 250 big red i run excavators.they are awsome in the mud but they are quite heavy. they work good on the trails too, i never get stuck and i ride in the mud ALOT.
