350X cam

Anyone here have trouble with their 350X cam? And why did honda not put bearings on the camshaft,mine is all chewed up now and it has high and low spots like it was on a pottery wheel. Do they usually get chewed up,or do they stay smooth? Did a lack of oil changes by the previous owner cause this? Thanks.

I have two heads, one with one small groove that is still usable and another that was really bad shape. The one that was in bad shape was because the motor ran out of oil. I've also heard that riding wheelies for a long ways will cause lack of oil to the head too. Check your head to see if it has grooves too, I'm surprised the just the cam would wear and not the head. I think its a design flaw.
