Help Yamaha YTM 200el

I have a Yamaha YTM 200el - my problem is that it smokes terribly. Blue smoke. It runs great - starts fairly well. After you start it once it starts great. It blows blue smoke so bad that you can not breath.

Oh one more thing I'm having problems with the electric start. When I hit the start button sometimes it starts and other times it won't. When it won't start I can hear the relay under the seat clicking. I took the relay off and put it back on without doing anything and it started. Then it quit again - I could feel the relay while hitting the start button and I could feel it clicking. What do I do now?

Does this mean that I need to rebuild? What do I need to do? Where do I go to get parts? Please Help!

It sounds to me like you need a ring job. Check the compression, and if its low, its most likely due for a set. The starter also sounds like it needs a rebuild. Just the starter motor, it seems like the solenoid works fine. I have found that my local yamaha dealer is a great place to get aftermarket or oem parts. Check other dealers if its pricey, they can vary a bit im told. Good luck.
