Anybody with a manual

I pulled my 225dx apart and i need to know some specs. What is the standard bore? What are the wear limits for the wristpin and the top of the rod.

Also if anyone has the same info on a ytm 200.

I own a ytm 200 and some 225 DX parts. According to Clymer: the 225 DX bore 70 mm and the pin has a 2 mm side clearance.

what i have run into is that the top of the rod is hammered out so the wrist pin is loose. so i have to either have to buy a new rod, pull the crank and have it pressed apart- or i have a good ytm 200 crank and rod i could put in there, but the stroke is different so i dont know how well it will work.

I did some figuring and a 225 with the shorter stroke would be about 214cc and it would drop the factory compression of 8.8 to about 8.5, but to counteract this i would throw a wiseco 10.25 to 1 piston in it.

If anybody knows if this will work or not it would be a great help.
