View Full Version : 1985 Kawasaki KLT250 Flywheel question
How do I get it off? I've tried mutiple puller sets. Does anyone have any prior experience with removing them on the KLT250? The starter clutch is not engaging and just turns over the sprocket. Is there anything I can do without removing the flywheel to fix the starter clutch?
ok before you bend the fock out of it.
put the puller on and tighten it down. hit the bolt with a hammer if it did not come off tighten it more and hit the bolt again. do that till it pops off.
I tried that already with a brass drift and hammer so I wouldn't mushroom the bolt head. Thanks for your help anyways.
I didn't try a puller with a slide hammer. I was thinking about trying to find one. But I don't know of anyone who has one.

it cost me 5 bux to get my flywheel pulled on one of my machines..and it takes like 3 seconds max
you hit the center bolt on the puller, not the bolt on the shaft.
thats what they are made for.
do you need a picture.
I did hit the puller not the bolt on the on crankshaft.
