How hard is it to replace a 350X clutch. can you just pull that side cover and see it all and it be pretty straight forward? mine seems to let out at the very end of the lever? i tried to tighten it up right at the lever perch and then i also saw another adjustment spot up top about 4" away from the perch lever adjustment. can i tighten it there too? or is this not going to change the clutch at all? it's not slipping yet but i'd like to be ready and know how to replace it.
here is a picture of the side cover.

I think I have this stright.

Your clutch is not engaging until the lever is almost all the way out. That means the cable is to tight, because you barely have to pull the lever to disengage the clutch. So loosen the cable and the pull will get closer to the grip.

The manual tells you to adjust the clutch by how much free play is in the end of the lever, not where it grabs. You should measure the free play at the end of the lever and it should move 3/8-3/4inches. Yes, the nut in the middle of the clutch cable is also for major adjustments, if your wanting to loosen your cable and the adjustment on the pertch is all the way in you need to mess around with the one in the cable.

GRAB THE CABLE WHERE IT GOES INTO THE PERCH AND PULL THE SLACK OUT OF IT NOW WHILE STILL HOLDING PULL THE CLUTCH LEVER YOU SHOULD HAVE A 1/4 IN. OF FREE PLAY. THATS THE RULE OF THUMB AT THE SHOP:thumbsup:
