I see that your asking alot of question about exhaust for ??which trike?? Are you in the market then for a new exhaust system? Hey look up Powroll and check out their thrust chamber. It is an addon, and supposably its adds performance like a performance exhaust...I think I am gonna try it myself...

i agree with jenn you have been asking a lot about pipes what is it your really trying to find out? what is the best? cheapest? or most popular?
if i'm correct this is for a ATC 350X. in that case you have few options now. Cobra, DG , Supertrapp.

Cobra originally designed DG Pipes. so they are basically the same except the Cobra has a better shaped (for flow) silencer. the cobra "jet" and dg "krome power" are almost exact.
the new xccelerator is basically the same just with the new age politically (sound) correct oval shaped muffler.

if you looking for the best performing pipe with money being no object. Buy a basic cobra aluminum pipe/muffler and head pipe. also buy there optional quit core insert. then buy a dg rear section only (aluminum) and there dg/supertrapp spark arrestor core. cut the mid section off the dg rear section and cut off the aluminum reciever sleeve on the cobra muffler then weld the dg mid section to the cobra muffler.

take the cobra quite core and cut the cone end cap off. then take the dg/supertrapp core and cut its end cap off and weld it to the cobra quite core. then remove the h.p. core from the cobra muffler and install (with packing) the newly made cobra/dg/supertrapp core.

now you have the ultimate pipe for the 350X at about the same price as the xccelerator but with enough parts left over to build a second pipe to sell or have as a backup

my #1 choice for my 350x right now is the supertrapp.

no offense but supertrapp is "junk" and they do not offer a headpipe. the supertrapp fits poorly and leaks at it's too many joints

I have 3 different ones.........

Cobra on the 200x...It is the only available aftermarket for my particular x without, some work or welding being done. I like the sound, it has the quiet core. It is a bugger to tear apart and clean up. it has a nice look to it I even got complimented on it. It runs on the x with all stock stuff. ie stock carb and engine componets. There is one thing i do not like, with the quiet core if you do not pack correctly I have found that the packing will go to the back from pressure....I ended up not running with packing. I notice no sound difference and no real difference in power from packing or no packing. I do have a an aftermarket air filter....

I also have a supertrapp on the 110. I actually like this pipe. Sounds better in my opinion then the cobra. I also like the availability to add and remove discs. and it comes apart very easy for cleaning and painting. (I clean and paint my pipes once a year as needed we are wet climit rust is an enemy) It looks very good with the 110. IT also runs with stock everything on the atc.

Then we also have a rcm/dg w/supertrappdisk system for the 350x....I cannot give an opinion yet due to we have yet to slap it on. However it does clean up real nice...and tears down easy enough.

I have heard a basic supertrapp on an 350x that we were looking at for purchase, and it was incredibly loud. If I remember correctly it didnt have discs and the exhaust looked like it was a hurtin unit. I never did buy that trike....These are Just my opinions...

I got lucky it came with the pair of 110's I bought they both had em on them.......All of our trikes came with their aftermarket goodies as we bought them. It looks good on the 110....

I have a DG xcellorater on my 200X and just love it!

My only other experiance with after market pipes was a alloy DG, way too loud with little actual performance.

Just my $0.02 worth

In all honesty I never looked into supertrapp, But I would assume that they did indeed Make them:shrug:.....Maybe when the bigboy cc's came out they just went to them...Remember my 110 is a 79'. The one 110 I sold was bought in 1978'

i agree with mr atc stupid trapp really stinks. i've said it here before, but they don't support their "old products". i can't get a replacement head pipe for my 200x . i bought the system in '92 for $240 and they don't stock replacement parts!!! :fire:
