which is the better pipe for my 250r?

DG or FMF gold series fatty?

I have both. I don't have time to install both & jet to compare so I'd like to hear from people that may know. thanks!

i have one of each myself. the fatty provides all around power but the dg seems to give my other one a lowend and midrange punch. i like both but if i drag race i like my dg.:thumbsup:

Forget both of those! Go for the real power. Get an ESR ATC-5, best over-all pipe around and it looks friggen awesome too.

i think the esr pipe is prolly the best in frame pipe for an R as well

if you can find a lrd, you've got the best pipe out there. lrd stopped making them, so it may be tough to find one.

of the two pipes in question i would lean towards the FMF as the better all around pipe. the workmenship is better. and it has a more usable power spread. the DG has a smaller spread of usable power although maybe a tad more peak power.

as far as the best pipe that all depends on what your using it for.

for track use i love the Paul Turner pipe. this is the same guy that built the pipes Team Honda used when they raced and there was a up and coming rider named Eddie Sanders that used them to. i personally have not used any of his pipes but i'm sure they are very similar to Paul Turner pipes
