lookin' good! is the 250ex shaft drive? If so I wonder how hard an engine swap would be? how about comparing the mounting points for us. :D

The 250EX is shaft drive, but just like it's older brother, the Honda Recon 250, the engine is transverse mounted.
My guess is that any engine swapping is out of the question.
I love the 250EX, it is light, maintanence-free (just like my 250SX was when new i suppose), and wheelies with the best of them.

the 200X is new for me, and it has a rear brake problem, so i haven't riden it a whole lot.
But i do really like auto clutches....that's why i bought the 250SX. If it was in "NEW" condition i definitely would say the 250SX. But sometimes i really like the nice tight feel of the new quad.
One day my 250SX will be just as tight and reliable though.
....but i think i may need swingarm bushings first.....

my 350x stays that clean, but I got a little ways to go to get my 250sx perfect.
