Brake line

I extended the swingarm on my 85 350x 6in. does anyone know a replacement brake line that would fit? I think it has to be abut 3 incehes longer than stock. I haven't seen an extended swingarm over 2 inches for this model but I was wondering for those of you with 250r's extended what you used. Thanks

Wouldn't you want to go +6 on the line too, so you still had the same amount of slack?

Everyone I've seen extend them runs a braided replacement line. There's probably some specialty ATV shops online that sell what you need, or you could probably have one made locally.

Sounds like fun. Post some pics sometime. Did you do the extension work yourself, or have it done? I've got 2 350x's, and I'm thinking I'd like to add a couple inches to the swingarm on the one my wife rides... She's seen me wheelying ALL the time and is afraid one blip of the throttle and it's going to stand up on her too! :D

Thats a good idea for the braided line I'm not sure if i have to make it 6 extra inches for slack but i will anyways for shock movement. I actually had a friend recommend his friends who restores cars he only charged me 100 dollars which is amazingly cheap, plus he is a very experienced welder so he knows he has to keep measuring after every weldd to make sire its straight it works and makes the bike look great i will get pix as soon as possible but i dont have a scanner. The difference was night and day for keeping the front end down i have a choice now:)

I had a braided brake line made for mine at at local hose shop, they were able to use my ends off the stock line. I think it was about $40.

i have the stock brake line still on my 500 with a 6" longer arm on it,,,,,,,, it is routed way around the front and if you reposition it it works,,,, :D :D :D
