atc 70 help

i may have the chance to get a 70 trike and i was told it runs for about 15 mins but then it wont go any more. it will just rev. he said you can put it in neutral and rev it but it wont go. Is this the clutch thats bad? is it after it heats up it goes bad? any clues??

When the clutch gets worn the revs have to be brought up to get it to move... but as far as one going from moving to stopped in 15 minutes of riding? Man that clutch must be shot. Tell him
you'll give him $50 and see if he takes it!
