Walden Colorado North Sand Hills Mexfest

Went up to Walden with my buddy and our five boys, had the place to ourselves the first three days and it turned out that it was Mexfest weekend (always two weekends after Memorial Day). The Dunes are small but fun and about 9 miles outside of the town of Walden. Mexfest started about 35 years ago and many generations of sand freaks were in attendance. It was fun to meet these guys and we plan on attending next year. I don't have any still pics of the dunes, but they can be found here:

The Dinli

01 DL601 Hand me down to my youngest. I redid it this year with new plastic, shocks. Works Warrior shock on rear, pipe. nerf bars and a couple other things.
It runs like a champ.



Go Karts

The Go Karts were new purchases form Sam's Club. One lasted 3 days the other
6. Both frames cracked in the same place. My buddy took them back after a week of total mayhem.





After 3 days of isolaton the Mexfest people started showing up

A couple of nice TRI Z's in attendance. Rode with another airfooler and a water cooled 86.
